I get the question often about whether a person’s anxiety is “bad enough” to seek treatment.
Even if it is mild, it is worth treating!
You are worth treating!
It can be hard to dedicate time to mental health, but it may be a time saver in the future. Even mild anxiety can interfere with your life. And it seems smart to work on anxiety when it is at a mild state, instead of waiting to see if it progresses to a worse state.
If we have this notion of ‘bad enough’ to treat, then we will all wait until we’re truly suffering to get help!
Treatment does not have to be an intense 6–month round of therapy or heavy doses of medication. It is about finding the proper care for you like an online course (@kimberleyquinlan CBT school or @ocdandanxietyonline), therapy, medication, a combination.
Anxiety can be treated no matter if it is mildly or severely interfering.
